How to Draw Aveline de Grandpre, Assassins Creed Liberation

STEP 1. Like all our tutorials, we're going to start with a base to work off of. We'll draw the upper half of her torso and her head along with a connecting line for the head and lines coming out from the sides for her arms.

STEP 2. From there we'll draw out the features of her face along with the shape. She has sort of rounded cheeks and full lips along with a few dark freckles. Since her hat partially covers her face, we'll go ahead and draw the bottom of the brim at the front.

STEP 3. Next we'll finish off her hat. Her hat has three corners and is called a tricorn hat, though hers has a brim that comes down like the hoods in the previous AC games. There is also a trim along the top edges of the sides.

STEP 4. From there we'll start filling in her hair, starting with the just the hair at the back of the head and the band that holds it all together. Her hair is pulled back into many many braids and can be drawn by drawing oblong hearts that cut down the middle and loop all together.

STEP 5. Continuing the patter, we'll draw out the strands of braids, drawing them going out as if the wind has swept them back.

STEP 6. Next we'll draw her capelette (another word for a small cape that only covers the shoulders and the the chest. Hers has a collar and two buckles in the front that hold it closed and to her body. Also there is a leather strap on each shoulder, which means it might have been of some military design, those straps probably having been used to hold a cord that showed the wearer's rank or house colors.

STEP 7. Under her cape, she wears a colonial style vest with sets of buttons down the front. Her vest has a similar red trim to that on her hat.

STEP 8. Lastly, we'll give her some arms. Her blouse has very flowey sleeves that she tucks into her gloves and bracers.

STEP 9. And there you have it, how to draw Aveline. Now wasn't that quick and easy! I hope you all enjoyed this.
